This Payroll Manager will help achieve standards that are necessary for growth within the financial department and will be responsible for overseeing both union and non-union multistate payroll preparing reports and updating policies. For immediate consideration please contact Anjeleah Gotiong at 916-245-7445.Your responsibilities:Supervise system upgrades and the processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires terminations raises)Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systemsComply with internal policies and relevant lawsCollaborate with auditors and manage payroll tax auditsSettle issues and respond to all questions related to payrollGenerate systems that process payroll account transactions like salaries benefits garnishments deductions taxes and third-party paymentsWork with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teamsManage the accuracy of records and prepare reportsManage and train payroll clerks and assistants (union and non-union multistate)Requirements 5+ years of payroll experience required Multistate & Union payroll experienced required2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar roleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCPP CPM or other related professional certifications is a plusBachelors degree in Business Administration Accounting Human Resources or related field preferredRobert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
