Description Robert Half is searching for a candidate to fill the position of an Accounting Administrator for an admired well-known organization. This role requires you to match invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers perform data entry tasks and facilitate the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This permanent role is for an Accounting Clerk in the Vancouver Washington area.Major responsibilitiesSupport accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing A/P invoice matching & filingReconcile discrepancies by examining possible sources of disagreement recreating likely actions and identifying the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as neededCarry out other related duties and work on special projects as assignedCode documents using the proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codesPost financial information to journals and ledgersUse a variety of sources to prepare statements and reportsPerform general accounting tasks such as G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing and other ad hoc projectsAssist Accounts Receivable with processing daily invoices/credit applying cash receipts and collecting past due balancesRequirements - Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)Foundational knowledge in QuickBooksAccounts Receivable (AR) experience preferredDeep understanding of QuickBooks EnterpriseAbility to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgroundsAA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferredSkilled in Spreadsheet and ERP systemData entry document management file creation and previous records experience required Robert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
