Find your future with us.The Seattle Commercial Derivative Airplanes team seeks a Maintenance Analyst (mid-level). The Logistics team supports all derivative programs in the Puget Sound region (P-8 KC-46 and VC-25B). Position will conduct research and analyses to develop and verify the effectiveness of maintenance data and procedures. Emphasis will be development of maintenance solutions to optimize customer operations as well as new maintenance procedures based on design review and analysis of product support data. The Maintenance Analyst will be part of a team researching and assessing engineering changes to determine impact on maintenance operations.This position will be hybrid – part time on-site in Tukwila.Primary responsibilities:Researches and assesses engineering changes to determine impact on maintenance publicationsWork with supplier data to analyze and integrate it into the aircraft support system.Execute support equipment SOW analyzing requirements and developing wire diagram solutionsPerform as Subject Matter Expert evaluating Product Revision Record (PRRs) and design related changes for maintenance manualsWork with Engineering and FAA through all phases of certification; Amended Type Certification (ATC) Supplemental Type Certification (STC) and Military Type Certification (MTC).Requires the ability to successfully lead meetings and communicate technical data and information to United States Air ForceWork with Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in the creation tracking and oversight of CITAPS (Commercial Item Transfer at Price) contracts.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.  An interim and/or final Secret U.S. Security Clearance may be required post-start.Required Qualifications:Minimum 5+ years of experience gathering preparing and analyzing technical data for the development support products including logistics engineering logistics support analysis technical publications support equipment spares provisioning field services maintenance etc. supporting product lifecycle.3 or more years of experience with Aircraft Maintenance/Technical Publications Data.3 or more years of experience with Commercial ATA specification and mil-specs as they relate to Technical Publication and maintenance data.Experience with leading meetings successfully and communicate technical data and information to United States Air Force US Navy as well as foreign customers.Ability to obtain a valid passport and support domestic and international Travel if requiredPreferred Qualifications:Airframe & PowerPlant certificationMaintenance experience on Boeing 737 767 and 747 highly desired and/or maintenance experience on military heavy aircraft.Typical education/ experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years related work experience 5 years related work experience).This is a union represented positionRelocation: This position does offer relocation based on candidate eligibility.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift:This position is for the 1st shift.At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.  Elements of the Total Rewards package include competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. The Boeing Company also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs generally including health insurance flexible spending accounts health savings accounts retirement savings plans life and disability insurance programs and a number of programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location date of hire and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
