Find your future with us.Boeing’s Airborne Surveillance Command & Control (ASC2) Mission Systems software team in Tukwila WA is seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Performance Analysis Software Engineer to develop and analyze cutting edge sensors and tracking solutions for multiple customer contracts. This engineer will be a part of the Systems Performance Analysis team conducting a variety of tasks including system requirements definition review and analysis algorithm development and coding for incorporation into mission critical real-time software systems simulation model development and verification/validation to support high fidelity software simulation of sensors and devices desktop/laboratory/flight test data analysis and system performance analysis in support of system requirements verification/validation related to sensors and tracking correlation fusion identification display and data link functions. Boeing offers a comprehensive benefits package including generous Paid Time Off (PTO) flexible work environment paid parental leave 401k matching extremely generous tuition assistance for earning advanced degrees and paid medical leave programs.  For more information click here.Position Responsibilities:Develop and document test plansDevelop and review algorithms and simulation modelsDevelop and maintain analysis toolsConduct analysis of both flight and laboratory generated test dataGenerate final data products and reportsDefine analysis requirements for both simulated and flight environments. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. (Tukwila WA)This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Ability to obtain Interim Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start).This is a union-represented position.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry or other technical degree5+ years of experience developing software for real-time embedded systems.  Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with Agile software developmentExperience with debugging and troubleshooting technical problems involving computer memory or timing considerationsExperience with systems architecture requirements analysis test and verificationExperience programming in C C++ Ada or similar languageKnowledge of communications missiles sensor data processing signal processing GN&C (guidance navigation & control) or similar technologiesA positive attitude towards learning software quality and teamworkExperience leading software development engineers or teamsTypical Education/Experience:Bachelors degree and typically 9 or more years experience in an engineering classification or a Masters degree with typically 7 or more years experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred although not required accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
