The successful candidate will help lead in the design and implementation of our cloud solution and maintain a modern system deployment to the cloud environment with a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows for system build test and deploy. We develop cutting edge sensors and mission systems high bandwidth communication systems large-scale simulation systems space and satellite systems avionics virtual machines as part of high fidelity digital twins that will improve the future of software development airplane and flight controls cyber security solutions artificial intelligence machine learning and much more. Our products help solve  Boeings most challenging problems across Commercial Airplanes Defense Space & Security and Global Services businesses.Projects can range from new cyber security solutions for the revolutionary 787 Dreamliner to innovative aircraft creating virtual avionics development test environments across several commercial defense satellite and space platforms satellite payload technologies and autonomy. Position Responsibilities:Develop and sustain Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines for automated deployment of the highly available mission critical cloud or enterprise platform product software for integration and test and operationsCreate scripts and templates to build development systemsPerforms analysis design develop and implementation activities to install configure and maintain infrastructure software and components in cloud platform utilizing everything as code Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) for deploymentsPerforms activities to ensure alignment of use cases and objectives with architecture and securityProvides guidance and direction to DevSecOps developers and administratorsTroubleshoots application deployment issuesResearch/analyze issues (such as application integration performance etc.) and provide recommendations and resolutionExperience with Terraform and AnsibleExperience using Agile or SAFe methodologyExperience in deploying administering maintaining and upgrading one or more of these applications: Atlassian Jira Confluence Bitbucket or JFrog Artifactory Gitlab Jenkins Maven Gradle etc..Experience with automation and provisioning of cloud environments or on-prem infrastructureExperience implementing AWS solutions design and deployment of enterprise-scale applicationsExperience developing guidelines and best practices for cloud-oriented development & implementations including containers and container orchestration This position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) and ability to complete a CI (Counter Intelligence) polygraph after employment start.This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a “US Person†as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person†includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Computer Engineering Software Engineering Computer Science Mathematics Physics or chemistry 3+ years of experience with object oriented software development ( C/C++ Java)3+ years of experience automating software builds unit tests integration tests deployment and installations using a DevOps tool chain (Jenkins Nexus Artifactory)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceActive security clearanceTypical Education & Experience: Level 3Bachelors degree and typically 5 or more years experience in an engineering classification or a Masters degree with typically 3 or more years experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classificationLevel 4Bachelors degree and typically 9 or more years experience in an engineering classification or a Masters degree with typically 7 or more years experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years experience in an engineering classificationRelocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift Work: This position is for 1st shiftEqual Opportunity Employer:Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
