Description Robert Half is seeking a bookkeeper for a permanent employment opportunity to place with one of their clients. This Bookkeeper role comes with minimal supervision and tight deadline expectations if you are an accounting professionals seeking an opportunity this could be for you. The Bookkeeper is in charge of accounts receivable accounts payable reconciliation and month-end closing. Additionally the Bookkeeper will handle coding light journal entries or general ledger reconciliation and perform data entry cash applications and full cycle A/P. This Bookkeeper opportunity will be located in the Dover Massachusetts area and will be a permanent position. Apply immediately!Key responsibilitiesOrganize sales tax records and create and file quarterly paymentsUphold monthly accounting closeAdept in credit card management and reconciliationAssemble monthly reconciliations financial statements and all supporting documentsUphold a general ledgerMaintain Accounts PayableProduce subcontractor 1099s and any other IRS year-end requirementDirect monthly accounting closeDraw up cash flow projections as neededExtra unique tasks if requiredHandle Accounts Receivable Requirements - Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent and to thrive in a dynamic high pressure environment1+ years of related experience- Accomplished in analytical quantitative and social skillsCrucial accounting experience including as a Bookkeeper preferredDetailed and have the ability work independentlyStrong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal written and listening)Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlinesKnowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)Adeptness in manual payrollPractical knowledge of bank reconciliationsFoundational knowledge in Local Payroll TaxDemonstrated knowledge of Process PayrollProficiency in bi-Monthly PayrollMicrosoft Excel experience highly preferredAccounts Payable (AP) experience desiredGeneral familiarity with Check RunsPayroll experience highly desiredStrong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skillsHighly organized and self-motivatedSelf-starter and strong ethical standards Robert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
