Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Laboratory Operations Technician to join the Airborne Surveillance Command & Control (ASC2) Laboratory Operations team in Tukwila WA. This position will provide ongoing lab operation support within the ASC2 systems labs which include the Advance Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) and Airborne Warning & Control System (AWACS) platforms. Lab Operations works with the engineering teams lab mechanics and Global Security teams to understand the requirements needed to perform the variety of test that come through these labs. Lab Operations provides solutions and executes on plans to meet these requirements.Position Responsibilities:Assists in the design development buildup test integration and support of computing tools software systems and networks for design simulations test systems and environments test computing elements and laboratory/test networksAssists in the development and presentation of plans for test computing environmentsAssists in the development design and execution of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)Performs system analysis of specialized and highly complex test computing systems networks and software and provides recommendations and consultation to customers and stakeholdersWorks under general directionCoordinates between security engineering and mechanics to implement changes within the labEnsures there are no process gaps that could lead to equipment escaping closed areasMaintains lab configuration control in accordance with command media (AS9100 etc)This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience working in a laboratory and/or test environmentExperience with configuration control processesExperience in closed system and/or lab environmentsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active U.S. Secret Security ClearanceExperience working in a dynamic environmentExcellent communicationTypical Education/Experience:  AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
