Description Tony Santana of Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Payroll Manager. This Payroll Manager will be responsible for work on tax-related tasks such as W2 forms preparing reports and updating policies and will help achieve standards that are necessary for growth within the financial department. If you are a dynamic Payroll Manager with excellent communication proven leadership and are deadline driven this may be the role for you.Your responsibilitiesRespond to all questions related to payroll and resolve issuesCoach and supervise payroll assistants and clerksHelp create systems that process payroll account transactions like salaries benefits garnishments deductions taxes and third-party paymentsOversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires terminations raises) and system upgradesFollow internal policies and act in accordance with relevant lawsLiaise with auditors and manage payroll tax auditsManage the accuracy of records and prepare reportsOrganize payroll systems and timekeepingWork with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teamsRequirements - Bachelors degree in Business Administration Accounting Human Resources or related fieldPrevious experience with multi-location payroll and taxesStrong organizational and leadership skillsCPP CPM or other related professional certifications is a plusStrong communication and social skillsSkillful in handling confidential business matters and information with discretionCapable of working in payroll applications2+ years of proven leadership experience as a payroll manager or similar roleSound understanding of current payroll procedures and related lawsStrong understanding of compliance5+ years of payroll experience Robert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
