Job Description

Redeemer Health is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner in the Obstetric Gynecology department. We welcome you to apply to be a part of the Redeemer family of OB GYN providers. SUMMARY OF JOB: The Certified Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) are licensed autonomous practitioners who participate in the overall coordination and delivery of care to patients in the practice. The CRNP examines diagnoses and treats patients in the practice. The collaborating CRNP may also assist in procedures in the office setting conduct testing and prescribe medications in accordance with the Pennsylvania CRNP license scope and the delineation of privileges by the physicians. In collaboration with the practice physician the CRNP communicates as appropriate with the patients physicians and other members of the health care team about changes in a patient’s clinical condition and testing results. The CRNP serves as a liaison educator and patient advocate and functions within individual patient needs physician orders Holy Redeemer Health System policy and procedures and the Pennsylvania CRNP license. Clinical responsibilities will include both office and hospital based patient care. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS: • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program • CPR Certified • Minimum of 3 years practice-specific experience preferred • Demonstrated competency in Clinical assessment • Maintains National Certification with 100 hours of CME credits every two years LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: • RN licensed in Pennsylvania EOE
