Find your future with us.Position Overview: The role of an Experienced Galley Configurator is a dynamic position that requires frequent collaboration with a variety of internal and external teams including engineering supply chain the galley supplier factory personnel multi-disciplined functional teams interior certification payloads configuration customer engineering airline customers and others.This position requires a proactive individual who is able to approach problems systemically program mange issues with both the big picture and details in mind clearly communicate technical and non-technical issues manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and consistently communicate/collaborate efficiently with all internal and external stakeholders.The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite in Long Beach CA. This position would join a team that currently operates in a hybrid schedule (on and off site on certain days) though that expectation is subject to change based on business needs.This position requires occasional domestic and/or international travel (10%).  You must be able to represent the company professionally and work well across multiple disciplines to accomplish desired results.Position Responsibilities: As a member of the galley team you must have the ability to:Program manage activities and collaborate with all stakeholders in the value stream to meet on time delivery commitments Effectively coordinate and manage multiple airline customer galley configurations simultaneouslyReview and approve supplier technical data and hardware for compliance with FAA Customer and Boeing specificationsWork with technical experts to ensure proper test and certification documentationEngage with factory personnel to ensure seamless installation and integration This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a “US Person†as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person†includes US Citizen lawful permanent Employers will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics chemistry or another technical degreeStrong oral and written communications skills5+ years of engineering experienceExperience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiativesExperience with program managing and prioritizing multiple projects in support of key milestones and aircraft delivery schedulesWorking knowledge of interiors commoditiesExperience with managing supplier activities Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Working knowledge of CSDT (Customer and Supplier Data Transmittal)Working knowledge of ETAC (Engineering Tracking and Control)Working knowledge of PDM (Product Data Manager)Working knowledge of IVT (Integration Visualization Tool)Experience with CATIA V5 (or equivalent 3D CAD design software)Experience with the FAA and/or EASA Certification processExperience as a DAE (Design Approval Engineer) of an interiors commodityExperience with RCCAs (Root Cause Corrective Actions)Education/ Experience: Bachelors degree and typically 5 or more years of experience in an engineering classification Masters degree with typically 3 or more years of experience in an engineering classification or a Ph.D. degree with experience in an engineering classification.Bachelor Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry.
