Revenue Integrity Coding Analyst SUMMARY OF JOB: Responsible for resolving NCCI MUE SSI and other billing edits to expedite clean claims submission to payers. Work closely with clinical/ancillary hospital departments to ensure compliance with government payer and internal charge capture policies. Provide correct coding education to all clinical/ancillary departments. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in a hospital setting clinic setting or other revenue cycle company RHIT/RHIA CCS CMA CPC or other coding/auditing certification required. Knowledge of medical terminology ICD10 CPT and HCPC coding Experience with electronic health records Prior experience working NCCI MUE SSI and charge error billing edits Knowledge of third party payer contracting language and reimbursement terms Familiar with multiple (widely used) healthcare patient accounting/billing systems Proficiency with Excel MS Office Suite Internet Explorer and Database Management application software Ability to communicate effectively Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations and Charge Description Master Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients employees and the public Strong organizational and time management skills EOE
