Job DescriptionServes as a financial advisor and business partner in managing the activities of the financial analyst staff. Ensures that global business processes and practices are followed in providing accurate financial analysis in support of Oracles business to facilitate decision making and future business strategies. Manages a professional staff.As a member of Oracles finance organization you will manage the finance team and drive key cross functional business practices such as management of the budget and forecasting processes. Your will prepare administer and direct the control of the budget. Review and approve recommendations for financial planning and control. Monitor divisions and subsidiaries adherence to budgets. Develop implement and integrate financial practices across multiple organizations and locations. Develop recommend and implement financial policies practices and process changes.Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Serves as process owner; ability to identify cross-functional issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. 12 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.ResponsibilitiesInformation about the role:In this role youll serve as a strategic business partner supporting key development executives who create Oracles cloud applications. You will lead a small high performing finance team that proactively drives strategy and finance discussions within the business. You will also provide critical strategic financial support and advise that will help the development executives grow their business. This role works collaboratively with many different teams across the organization to bring together relevant data to aid in strategic decision making. You will be a key contributor to forecasting budgeting and long-range planning activities.Responsibilities:Develop partnering relationships with development executives and their teams.Build a small finance team to support partnering with the development organization.Work with development executives and their teams to foster business growth.Discover meaningful insight by combining multiple sources of information and use this insight to help drive data driven decisions.Effectively communicate complex topics to executive leadership. Creating executive presentations to support business use cases QBRs or other business reviews.Develop relevant metrics to accurately track business performance and strategic initiatives and then create the processes to report on these metrics.Participate in the annual budget and long-range planning activities.Develop models to show the return we get for our development investments.Perform ad hoc analysis as needed to assist executive leadership.Participate in corporate initiatives related to digital transformation and automation.Preferred Qualifications10+ years of increasingly responsible finance experience to include leading global finance teams within a SW Cloud or SaaS business.Experience as key finance business partner and trusted advisor supporting an Executive/Senior Vice President of a business unit of scaleFinance and operations leader that can be effective in a lean team environment with a large scope.Extensive background in FP&A and a forward leaning approach to finance.Ability to thrive in an environment with ambiguity and change.Demonstrated ability to work well in a cross-functional team.Self-directed proactive with ability to multi-task.Energetic and positive attitude in the face of stress.Agile and influential leader.Engineering degree with graduate degree in business or finance is preferred.Life at OracleAt Oracle we dont just value differenceswe celebrate them!
