Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for: 1. Performing echocardiograms studies on adult (Transthoracic Transesophageal Stress and Contrast) & pediatric patients (transthoracic). 2. General supervision of the cardiac echo sonographers 3. Daily technical operations of the Echo laboratory 4. Assist Medical Director in achieving and maintaining ICAEL standards 5. Working with Medical Director to ensure quality patient care through structured QA program Recruitment Requirements: · High school graduate. · Appropriate credential in echocardiography from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) for a minimum of 3 years. · Documented training in Echocardiography and at least 5 years year experience performing Echocardiogram studies required. · Experience in achieving or maintaining ICAEL accreditation · 2 or more years of management experience preferred · Current BLS/CPR certification. · Ability to work various shifts and/or on-call hours when required.
