Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Mid-Level Product Support Engineer to support our Supply Chain Engineering team in Seattle WA.  BGS Supply Chain Engineering is responsible for providing engineering data and support to the airlines operators BGS Supply Chain and other Boeing teams on spare parts to support their operations. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality. The candidate will need to be a team player who works well with subject matter experts and others toward a common goal. The candidate will need to have the ability to work independently and prioritize and complete work assignments in a timely manner. The candidate will need strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse individuals at all levels to address engineering and technical requests and develop and implement solutions.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options (Seattle WA)Position Responsibilities:Researches and analyzes engineering drawings specifications technical manuals and supplier data to identify and document spare prone parts attributes and interchangeability requirementsReviews and analyzes Airworthiness Directives Service Bulletins and design engineering changes to determine the impact to spare partsProvide engineering support solutions and responses to customer and supplier inquiries and requests related to spare partsSupport new and derivative airplane programs to define new spare prone parts and develop unique spares configurations for complex assembliesParticipate on cross-functional teams to provide Spares Engineering support to improve our product services processes and tools to support our customers and the commercial spares businessThis position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a “U.S. Person†as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person†includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry5+ years in an engineering-related fieldPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience reading understanding and interpreting basic engineering drawings and specificationsExperience working in a cross functional environmentTypical Education/ Experience:Bachelor Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry.
