Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is seeking a Product Security Test Engineering Manager (Level K) to join our team in Seattle Washington. This role will manage key aspects of Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Product Security organization. This front line leader role is responsible for the daily management and leadership of Product Security Test Engineering team.The BT&E organization is building out the future for how Product Security (Cyber) Test & Evaluation will be innovated and executed across the entire Boeing portfolio. This organization provides Product Security (cyber) test & evaluation engineers in support of Commercial Defense Services and Innovation programs across the enterprise.Position Responsibilities:Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Product Security Test & Evaluation across the Enterprise including Commercial Defense and ServicesManage develop and motivate a Product Security Test TeamDeveloping project and/or operational plans aligned to departments objectivesImplementing plans to ensure business technical and customer requirements are achievedAssigning authority and responsibilities to employees to execute the planReviewing execution plans making appropriate adjustments and resolving issuesDeveloping and monitoring appropriate metrics to ensure performance to planSupport the execution and implementation of technical and functional excellence projects and processes applicable to the organizationEnsuring technical excellence by developing teammates providing mentorship and instilling a culture of accountability and bias for actionCreating a cohesive team environment that embodies the Boeing BehaviorsDevelop and execute plans to support and grow programs implementing policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquiring resources for projects and programsDeveloping and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reportsEffectively communicating to Senior Leaders and Executive ManagementDevelop a culture wherein Safety and Quality concerns are identified assessed and actively managed as one element in the conduct of daily businessThis position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. The expectation for this role is 3 days onsite in Seattle Washington and 2 days remote.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher5+ years of experience with Cyber Security Product Security and/or Test & Evaluation5+ years of experience leading or managing a team Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
