Description Robert Half is searching for a candidate to join the growing team at company in the Manufacturing industry as an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk. In this role your responsibilities will include entering posting and reconciling batches researching and resolving customer A/R issues preparing aging report placing billing and collection calls maintaining a cash receipting journal and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L. The team is rapidly growing and needs a self-starter to join the accounting team! With high attention to detail you will be processing full-cycle AP and handling a significant number of invoices per week. As the permanent Accounts Receivable Clerk you will work in the Waconia Minnesota region.Major responsibilitiesWork with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as neededPost and balance financial information in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accountsVerify documents and codesSupport relate and strengthen the mission values and culture of the organizationManage monthly closings and annual reports including handling payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAPHandle a range of basic accounting tasks using standard proceduresProvide information as requested to shippers customers the sales/marketing department and other stake holders Requirements - Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policyAA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivableAttention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirementWell-founded grasp of Excel FormulasFoundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)Cash Collections experienceSolid understanding of commercial collectionsOracle experience highly desiredProven knowledge of Exception ReportsCommercial collections experienceKnowledgeable of ERP systems Robert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
