Our mission is to Serve Kentuckys Veterans by fostering independence preserving dignity andproviding compassionate care.The Nurse Aide State Registered I is responsible for assisting our veterans with daily life functionsproviding care and engage our veterans in a meaningful way as to promote a great quality of life.Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily life functionsObserve and report skin break downAid residents in preparation and participation of activitiesPreferred Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills Professionalism Adaptability and flexibility Self-starter CompassionateThis job requires mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or an approved exemption in accordance with CMS-3415-IFC fromthe Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This means if appointed to the position the applicant musthave completed the primary vaccination series for COVID-19 which means the administration of a single-dosevaccine or the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine upon commencement of employment.The vaccine received must be one of the FDA-approved or FDA-authorized vaccines. Proof of vaccination will berequired.
