This position is for candidates who can enter post and reconcile batches research and resolve customer A/R issues prepare aging reports place billing and collection calls maintain cash receipts journal and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.Your responsibilitiesRespond to requests for information from shippers customers the sales/marketing department and other stake holdersReconcile bank accounts posting and balancing financial data in various ledgersHandle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAPSupport relate and strengthen the mission values and culture of the organizationVerify documents and codesPerform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures including general accounting tasksWork with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as needed Requirements AA or BS/BA degree in accounting or related field preferred Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement3+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivableStrong analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policyAccounts Receivable (AR) experienceCommand of Aging ReportsCredit experienceProficient in ERP systemsRobert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
