USM Supply Chain SpecialistCompany:Boeing Distribution Inc.Job ID:00000329255Date Posted:2022-08-30-07:00Location:USA - Dallas TXJob Description Qualifications:The Boeing Global Services- Used Serviceable Materials Execution organization is seeking a s Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2) based out of Boeing Dallas TX. The role will support multiple phases of the Supply Chain Value Stream including repair supplier relations forecasting and component repair execution in support of Boeing programs.A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with program cross-functional leaders to enable the Repair Management Execution business to meet organizational goals and objectives.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas TXResponsibilities:Prepares and executes request for material requirementsResolves request for assistance within the Supply Chain value streamMonitor and control timely processing of unserviceable and serviceable Return components from Repair vendors to the USM operational team including items classified as Dangerous GoodsPerform tracking and tracing of urgent material requirementsIntervene as needed in Shortage and AOG situations by ensuring that the criticality/situation of the aircraft and customers operations are understood and action taken by the extended supply chain.Coordinate with USM repair lead and Boeing functional teams to ensure schedule demands/Service Bulletins requirements are met.Optimizes execution of the supply chain balancing inventory supply orders and scheduled demandsMonitor analyze identify trends and take action on Key Performance IndicatorsMonitors performance metrics performs trend analysis and takes mitigating action to meet performance objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.Prepares and distributes program reporting as required.Enters tracks monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements.Provide program timely communication leadership and continuous process improvement.Adaptable able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Basic Supply Chain KnowledgeMicrosoft Office (Excel Outlook PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years related work experience).Bachelors degree or higher preferred.Experience working with SAPExperience with used serviceable materials within AerospaceExperience managing component repairsTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years related work experience).Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
