Job Description

SUMMARY OF JOB: The director is responsible for the administration of the Health System’s Compensation/Benefits Programs and oversight of HR Information Systems (HRIS) and the integration of the HRIS system with other programs and systems. Oversee the daily activities and provides direction to the compensation and benefits team and the HRIS Sr. Data Analyst. Oversee the management and utilization of the HRIS resources. The position is responsible for assessing current pay practices throughout the system formulates partnerships across the organization to understand current compensation issues within departments and maintains strong relationships with the Talent Acquisition team to understand conditions impacting the market. The director is responsible for making recommendations to implement or change compensation policies practices benefit programs system changes/updates and maximizing the opportunity for system utilization. Addresses individual requests for analysis of information. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS: 7 years compensation/benefit experience with at least 3 years in a healthcare setting 3 years management experience preferred Previous experience in a large organization (i.e. 800+ employees) BA/BS Degree in Human Resources Business Management or related filed required SHRM SCP preferred World at Work CCP and CBP preferred Knowledge of all applicable state and federal employment and labor laws The ability to analyze compensation issues and develop well documented and clearly written recommendations Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff Ability to make independent judgments and decisions Demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential issues. Proficient in MicroSoft Office and other PC applications. EOE
