SUMMARY OF JOB: Responsible for the optimization of Hospital Revenue Cycle systems and related applications. Acts as a liaison between Revenue Cycle operations and Information Systems to improve processes increase accuracy create efficiencies and achieve key performance metrics targets Responsibilities include receivable management general ledger operational processes report writing and system integration. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree preferred; Minimum of 5 years of experience with revenue cycle system reporting / business intelligence healthcare billing and reimbursement processes and charge review and auditing Demonstrated proficiency with Cerner and Cerner related applications such as Soarian Financials HDX Experian Assurance/ePREMIS and 3M Knowledge of third-party payer contracting language and reimbursement terms Ability to communicate and present information effectively in both oral and written form with all levels of hospital personnel from staff level to CFO Excellent written skills and experience with documentation of issues and resolutions Ability to forge strong working partnerships within Information Technology as well as all revenue cycle constituents Ability to relate cooperatively and constructively with co-workers clinical and medical staff and interdisciplinary teams Ability to analyze and resolve complex application systems problems and provide resolutions/recommendations Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Superior analytical and problem-solving skills EOE
