Description Robert Half is partnering with our client to staff a Payroll Administrator to contribute to the production of accurate and timely payroll for employees communicate effectively and deliver strong internal customer service while working in a deadline-driven environment. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Lynbrook New York area. Youll want to apply for this fantastic opportunity as soon as you can!Your responsibilities in this roleHandle quarterly and year-end payroll reportsScan data entered by others in the payroll software to include but not limited to salary/wage increases benefit deductions employee termination dates and employee leaves of absence under FMLA or other unpaid leaveDevelop systems and protocols to direct the collection calculation and entering of pay dataAgree to current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws associated with the processing of employee wage data including payroll taxes employee federal and state income and social security taxes and other required reportingConduct regular payroll reporting as required and assist with financial audits related to pay records and associated general ledgerAccommodate staff with fringe benefits pay related issues general questions related to payroll PTO accruals and wage deductionsReassure timely processing of payroll in accordance with labor regulations and standard accounting principlesExplore payroll areas pay practices related to FLSA and fringe benefit reporting to determine how those practices apply to advise managementProcess voluntary deductions as well as wage garnishments pay levies and other involuntary court-ordered payments in a timely manner including reporting to the necessary authoritiesCooperate with Human Resources Information Technology and other internal business partners to ensure security protocols for pay systems Requirements - ADP Workforce Now experienceMulti-state payroll experience desiredMust have experience working with an HRIS system and high proficiency with spreadsheetsFPC or CPP will be advantageousr3+ years of payroll experienceKnowledge in processing liens various withholdings and garnishments Robert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
