Accounts Receivable Specialist Team Lead Work Location: Fully Remote - U.S.Position: The Account Receivable Specialist Team Lead will create and distribute department wide communications or pathways notifying staff of updated insurance guidelines/processing information. This position will identify and facilitate individual and/or team training needs for new or established team members. They will also participate in meetings with Payers internal departments Client contact(s) and TES Management etc. to address trends in denials and/or unprocessed claims.Core Responsibilities: Compile and analyze information identified by A/R Follow Up Supervisors of current and/or potential billing issues specific to outstanding receivablePresenting data to appropriate parties and partnering to develop resolutionsAssist Supervisor and/or Manager to ensure that daily team operations flow smoothly (i.e. assignment of work manage deadlines quality assurance and management of scheduling and staffing issues)Handles escalated client/patient issues that include but are not limited to unhappy patients/callers and client contacts that may require additional system or technical knowledgeParticipates in daily production assignments that will continue to develop understanding and knowledge of processing guidelines and expectations of respective client(s) payer mixAssist in the responsibility of time and attendance functionsParticipate in employee selection processProvide input in the development of performance appraisal documents; and where appropriate participate in delivery of disciplinary actionsOther duties as assignedRequirements: High School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years of additional schooling/related work experience; including a minimum of 5 years revenue cycle experience requiredIntermediate to Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel MS Word and MS OutlookPreferred Qualifications: Strong customer service experienceIn depth knowledge of various insurance policies and procedures related to claim adjudication and payment processes.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; drives executionExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentialityRepresents the office/Organization in a positive manner; supports and encourages strong morale and spirit in his/her team.Can marshal resources to complete tasks and orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish goalsAbility to solve difficult problems in a timely manner with efficient resolutionsCan negotiate skillfully in tough situations; can win consensus without damaging relationshipsWorks well with others; ability to work with and communicate with individuals of varying disciplines.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: General office demandsUnique Benefits : Flexible work environmentsReady Set Grow Career Development Center & access to Change Healthcare University for continuous professional learning & development with more than 5000 training assetsVolunteer days employee giving and matching gifts programs community awards and dollars for doers community partnershipsEmployee wellbeing programs and generous health plansEducational assistance programsUS 401(k) or Group RRSP (Canada) savings plans with matching employer contributionsBe sure to ask our Talent Advisors for more information on location specific benefits and paid time off policiesLearn more at https://careers.changehealthcare.com Eligibility for some benefits may be limited or not available for part-time employees be sure to speak with your Talent Advisor. The salary range for Jersey City NJ is $51600 $85920.
