Description Our client a small company with a large footprint is hiring an DIRECTOR OF FINANCE to backfill an internal promotion!!! This DIRECTOR OF FINANCE must spend their time in the business approving and reviewing things but also spend 25% of the time being strategic and leading people. The Finance Director is responsible for directing teams that provide accounting and finance services in support of the organizations business objectives. This role will lead managers who oversee the accounting close process account reconciliations monthly analysis forecasting as well as the annual budgeting process for assigned areas of responsibility. The Finance Director will lead business transaction processing teams in areas such as cost accounting customer financing banking operations inventory disbursements and property plant and equipment in compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal control requirements.The home run for this hire will be able to make the connection from prior organizations to what this company is doing - interpersonal process and system wise. Full P & L as well as Balance Sheet experience required; not just counting the product that comes in and goes out the door. The person who can understand the what and why they are doing and how it fits.Minimum requirements include 12+ years of progressive accounting experience along with a Bachelors degree in accounting CPA preferred! Candidate must have a "can do" attitude and cultural fit to win the role along with manufacturing experience!!!
