This role is critical in assisting with the calculation of wages based on hours worked reconciling hours with billing statements and company records and administering those payments. You will leverage incredible attention to detail and technical capabilities to fully utilize payroll software and tools with accuracy and efficiency. You are ultimately responsible for delivering accurate complete compensation to our employees in a timely manner. You must be comfortable working and communicating remotely as our whole team works remotely.DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: Gathering information on hours worked for each employee and administrating payroll on scheduled cadenceCalculating the correct amount incorporating overtime deductions bonuses etc. with the assistance of a computer systemPreparing and executing pay orders through an electronic system or distributing paychecksAdministering statements of payment to personnel either electronically or on paperProcessing taxes and payment of employee benefitsTracking of hour rates wages compensation benefit rates new hire information etc.Addressing issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiorsPreparing reports for upper management finance department etc.QualificationsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR MUST HAVES: Proven experience as a payroll specialist or payroll managerSolid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practicesVery good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the fieldProficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software (ADP) and databasesAbility to maintain confidentialityOutstanding organizational ability with great attention to detailPossess excellent communication skillsWell-organized and able to meet deadlinesA good human who cares about all humansNICE TO HAVE: Proficiency in ADP software experience a plusHigh School diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in business accounting or relevant field is a plusAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
