Coordinates with responsible officials to obtain funding waivers certifications and approvals that are lacking. Evaluates responses to solicitations including cpc reasonableness adequacy of competition compliance with solicitations and probability of meeting requirements. Manages the administration of procurements spanning the range from routine short-term commodity service and construction contracts to long-term complex contracts. Manages the termination of highly specialized and/or long-term complex contracts that affect a wide range of procurement activities or contractors operations or have a significant impact on local geographic areas. Supervises the work of 20-30 military and civilian contract specialists and contracting officers segregated into approximately four teams engaged in the performance of procurement analyses and contracting operations. Analyzes evaluates and reviews procurement programs and issues. Develops and issues policy for major organizations or programs.
