Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal customers and key suppliers for sub-categories.Focuses on cost savings. Participates in cross-enterprise commodity teams for sub-categories and aggressively tracks and improves non-compliance preferred supplier(s).Participates in fact-based negotiations and executes contracts utilizing approved terms and conditions. Implements sourcing recommendations and develops and manages e-procurement catalog content.Aggressively monitors tracks and reports supplier compliance and performance benefits. This position supports the Hardware Asset Management team.This role is the subject matter expert for all data center equipment including servers storage appliances security and network. Responsibilities include tracking these data center assets in our asset management tools supporting ongoing reporting and working with both the client technology and data center support teams to ensure continuity and accuracy.Serves as the SME for all data center asset management functions and major tool developments primarily in ServiceNow which interfaces feeds into other applications. The Advisor will be expected to represent Elevance Healths asset management interest in contract negotiations and disputes with suppliers.This position leads the strategic Procurement projects for Legal Finance and Compliance.This position is imperative to the companys efforts to continuously monitor and reduce the amount of suppliers and spend related to all three categories.This position will also be supporting cross functional processes and audit programs: auditing asset records reports tickets and measuring vendor performance. Minimum Qualifications: Relationship management experience.Requires a BA/BS; 8 years of experience in sourcing/supplier selection with at least 6 years experience with negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.MBA preferred.
