Description Robert Half is working with growing business to find a talented Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. If you thrive in a dynamic work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities this may be the role for you.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements conduct investigations maintain records and represent the organization at hearingsResearch compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefitsGenerate recruitment plans interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor lawsBuild management guidelines by preparing updating and recommending human resource policies and proceduresGrow the organizations human resources department by planning implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies programs and practicesAnalyze reports provided by the HR team team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needsEducate employees such that they follow all policies and proceduresOversee exit interviews and proceduresOversee all HR activities communications reports requests and documents created and received by the teamOrganize historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current recordsOversee human resource staff by recruiting selecting orienting and training employeesParticipate in interdepartmental meetings with other managers Requirements Proactive in handling confidential business matters and information with discretionAbility to view issues without bias1+ years of supervisory experience within human resourcesPossess strong organizational and follow-up skillsExtensive knowledge of HR policies benefits administration compensation and wage structureExcellent oral and written communication skillsFamiliarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office5+ years in human resourcesA familiarity with the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulationsAdept to problem-solving and conflict resolutionPHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are desiredImpeccable ethics integrity and standardsBachelors degree in human resources or relevant fieldIf you are interested in this role please call John Grabowski at 313-717-1187.Robert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
