The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department and employees at 5 different client sites in San Francisco. If you thrive in a dynamic work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities this may be the role for you.What you get to do every dayGrow the organizations human resources department by planning implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies programs and practicesHead up all HR activities communications reports requests and documents created and received by the teamStudy compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefitsPut in place management guidelines by preparing updating and recommending human resource policies and proceduresOversee exit interviews and proceduresCatalog historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current recordsRepresent your team at interdepartmental meetings with other managersUnderstand and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements conduct investigations maintain records and represent the organization at hearingsAnalyze reports provided by the HR team team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needsSupport employees such that they follow all policies and proceduresGenerate recruitment plans interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor lawsLead human resource staff by recruiting selecting orienting and training employeesRequirements Must be bi-lingual in English and SpanishProficient with HR software and working knowledge of MS OfficePHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferredAbility to view issues with impartialityA comprehension of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulationsPossess strong organizational and follow-up skills5+ years in human resourcesExtensive knowledge of HR policies benefits administration compensation and wage structure1+ years of supervisory experience within human resourcesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSeasoned in handling confidential business matters and information with discretionAdept to problem-solving and conflict resolutionImpeccable ethics integrity and standardsRobert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
