Candidates who can enter post and reconcile batches research and resolve customer A/R issues prepare aging reports place billing and collection calls maintain cash receipts journal and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L will be preferred for this position.ResponsibilitiesSupply shippers customers the sales/marketing department and other stake holders with information as requestedPost and balance financial data in various ledgers to reconcile bank accountsPerform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures including general accounting tasksWork with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as neededCarry out convey and strengthen the mission values and culture of the companyValidate documents and codesProcess payments and assemble segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP Requirements - Microsoft Excel experience highly desiredFoundational knowledge in Excel FormulasBilling experience desiredStrong familiarity with AIA BillingCommand of Billing CollectionExcellent attention to detailAnalytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policyAA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related fieldSkilled with ERP systems3+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable Robert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
