This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Waupun Wisconsin area.Your responsibilities in this roleReview and establish Ad Hoc financial reportsUrge accountability and the meeting of deliverablesBackfill for Controller as neededOther distinguished duties when requiredAssemble distinct technical accounting analyses policies and proceduresExceptional preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end auditsEndorse implementation and confirm adherence to accounting policies and proceduresBe instrumental in the preparation of GAAP financial statements including budgeting and forecastingMark and expand process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiencyDevise relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like key financial metrics the monthly flash report and actual spend against budgets/outlookMake sure regular account reconciliation to completionFacilitate the accounting team during the closing process to see to it that deadlines are metSupport to ensure a competent trained staff through development regular assessment and goal setting Requirements - The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical quantitative and social skillsFinancial statement preparation experience requiredFoundational knowledge in Fixed Asset AccountingProficiency in general ledgerAdeptness in Standard Cost AccountingMonth end closings experience desiredManufacturing Cost Accounting experienceDemonstrated knowledge of cost accountingProficient in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemsStrong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesNoteworthy accounting experience including as a Bookkeeper preferred5+ years of general ledger accounting experienceExcellent written/verbal communication and organizational skillsCPA certification desiredBachelors Degree in AccountingAbility to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request Robert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
