Our team’s currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate Mid-Level and Senior engineers.The ideal candidate will have the unique opportunity to design stabilize improve and transform production systems and processes to achieve world class operational excellence for some of the world’s most sophisticated aircraft and systems. Come build your career with Boeing!Position ResponsibilitiesConducts analysis of current and future business environment using established guidelines.Develops forecast acquisition and utilization plans to optimize resources in support of company initiatives and program business plans.Develops and maintains basic Business System factory definition to be used for manufacturing planning.Contributes to the development of labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages.Monitors performance to established labor hour estimates.Assists in the development of integrated tool and production master schedules by developing tool and position plan/documents tool downtimes rate flow plans #1 flows and tool sequencing plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment material and personnel.Assists in the identification and implementation of improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives.Analyzes changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events.Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost schedule resources and delivery.Develops modifications to existing plans and obtain approval.Participates in negotiations representing Production and Tooling Operations to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts.Develops implements maintains and statuses complex integrated shop operating plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to reduce inventory and meet cost and schedule commitments.Gathers and analyzes shop performance metrics in order to support a recommend plan of action for Production and Tooling Management.Work Authorization:Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree in business related curriculum such as Accounting Finance Business Administration Business Management Data Analytics Marketing Economics or Math.1 or more years of experience working in an engineering manufacturing and/or production environment.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1 or more years of experience working in a team environment.1 or more years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership.Knowledge of LEAN principles.Experience developing metrics to drive results and business improvements.Proficient in structured problem solving.Proficient Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical skills.Typical Education & Experience:Associate (Level 2): Bachelors degree and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience a Master’s degree and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experienced (Level 3): Bachelors and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Senior (Level 4): Bachelors degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Union Representation Statement:This is a union-represented position.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Onsite:This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
