The Accounts Receivable Clerk role based in the Santa Fe Springs California region is a permanent position. To succeed in this role you will need to enter post and reconcile batches research and resolve customer A/R issues prepare aging reports place billing and collection calls maintain cash receipts journal and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.What you get to do every single dayWork with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as neededEnsure the mission values and culture of the organization are supported conveyed and reinforcedPost and balance financial data in various ledgers to reconcile bank accountsFollow standard procedures to perform basic accounting tasks such as general accountingVerify documents and codesSupply shippers customers the sales/marketing department and other stake holders with information as requestedManage monthly closings and annual reports including handling payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP Requirements - Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policyHigh attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skillsKnowledgeable of ERP systemsAA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related fieldRelevant experience in accounts receivableComprehensive knowledge of chargebacksBank reconciliations experienceAccount reconciliation experience preferredAccounts Receivable (AR) experience Robert Half is the worlds first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
