Make a lasting impression on our Veterans assisting them by: Performing general cooking duties Mixes and cooks specialty dishes and delicate foods Maintains records of food used and supply on hand Maintains dietary work areas equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition Insures proper storage of foodThis position offers 15% on top of base pay for all hours worked on second and third shifts and 25% on top ofbase pay for all hours worked on a holiday or weekend.The ideal candidate will work within a team-centered environment to meet our commitment to serving KentuckysVeterans by fostering Independence preserving Dignity and providing Compassionate Care. This job requires mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or an approved exemption in accordance with CMS-3415-IFCfrom the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This means if appointed to the position the applicantmust have completed the primary vaccination series for COVID-19 which means the administration of a single-dose vaccine or the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine upon commencement ofemployment. The vaccine received must be one of the FDA-approved or FDA-authorized vaccines. Proof ofvaccination will be required. If a medical or religious exemption is sought the candidate must submitpaperwork to the employer prior to appointment for review and approval.This agency is prohibited from hiring employees with convictions identified in 906 KAR 1:190.
